Problems with Version 8 on Windows 8 Pro x64

1.  If you do set the color for a skin,  windows explorer background is black with unreadable text.

2. Most of the included skins have color issues with either Internet Explorer 10 or the Control panel.  For example, Precision produces whit on white Internet explorer menu text and some produce white on white control panel text.

 

I tried the beta and it does the same thing.

I know this may have been discussed before. The system tray icons are blurred. I also found this not to be a consistent behavior.

Firstly, I have my system tray on a separate dock (left edge of screen) - dock containing ONLY the system tray. When OD was first installed, I actually get high res system tray icons. After rebooting, the icons turned blurry. Nothing I could do to bring it back. 

I know it may be due to the 16x16 res of system tray icons that OD may be trying to render it 3...

I remember a theme from a long time ago, around Windows XP time, I believe.  It was orange (ish?), and had a radioactive symbol for the start menu....I've searched and searched....I think it also had a quasi carbon fiber look as well.  Can someone point in the right direction? It's driving me crazy that I can't think of it.

Just browsing through the latest WindowBlinds skin submitted to WinCustomize.com, and I wanted to show off one of the latest.  This is Metall Tech by bleumart. I really like the design as it's quite cool looking, but still functional enough to use daily.  I especially like the start menu design, and that style flows through the entire skin.  It was also a great color choice as it’s not too dark, and certainly not bright.  Bleumart hit the right balance and it shows in the qua...

I have never really followed the Olympics.  I'm not a big sports person in general, so I guess maybe that's the base of it, but I really have no desire to watch or follow anything going on with the Olympics.

Hello,

 

I'm running windows 8.1 with fences 2.12

Previously i had issues with fences 2.10 with windows 8.1 when I couldn't move anything but now I can move icons but the fences are still locked in fences 2.12.

 

How do I fix this?

Hello!

 

I have a similar query like this one - http://forums.stardock.com/450237, but there is no solution there unfortunately. 

 

I am migrating to a new hard drive and I installed Fences on it, and when it wants to activate, I have no idea how to do it.

 

I do not have a serial number present, I didn't buy Fences through the website, but rather through the application itself by putting in my credit card details and such. It got working autom...

The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009.  I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

Quite simple:  I start off with 2 words.  The next person keeps one of the words and replaces the dropped word with another.

It looks Like I´m not the One to do the Blind afterall then due to what it seems to require & don´t have enough time I´ll withdraw my skin and graphics.

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

I recently upgraded to Fences 2.12 on Windows 8.1. Previous versions were working flawlessly, but with the new version I got a problem: My desktop wallpaper does not show up when using fences. I only get a black background.

To make my wallpaper appear, I have to open the configuration window and click through the different options (without actually doing any changes!!). After this the wallpaper reappears bit by bit when moving the mouse over app icons in fences. Doi...

This fix is NOT meant to relieve the need to do the regular patch Tuesday stuff. This is an MS “fixit” for two Zero Day bugs affecting IE9 and 10 allowing remote code execution, and this WILL happen if you visit an infected website…usually through a phishing email.

The exploit involves JavaScript, a programming language used to create some interactive content on websites. Normally Internet Explorer should block JavaScript from carrying out commands on anything other than the web...

I purchased ObjectDock last week. I've been living with a cluttered desktop for a long time and thought I wouldn't like it empty. But I really like it.
