I am trying to get help Sins of a Solar empire and receiving no response.  I made a post a few weeks ago and was told I'd receive an answer by email - no response.  I sent an email to support two weeks ago, no answer.  Another email last week - again no answer.  On a separate issue, this one with regards to software registration of OD, I sent an email last week - and 5 days later nothing.

What do I need to do to get an answer from the support organization at Stardock? ...

I have purchased Fences and twice so far have submitted a support email request. All I get back is unhelpful "automated" replies giving me a ticket number. Thats it.

I have a simple question that needs an answer. Why after about 1 week do I not have one helpful response?  

The best software is useless without good support.

Hi all,

I'm just finishing up my latest skin "3D Blues" and after saving it shows up in WindowBlinds with the old preview images.

This is also true when you go to substyles, the wrong preview images show but in the main viewing skin preview window, the skin is right.

What can I do to make SKS generate those new images? I have done some searching but have found nothingn so far.

As I was reading Mirsguys great tutorial on making an animated startbutton i thought i would elaborate on it and show you another way of doing and importing animations into skinstudio with Photshop CS4 and Skinstudio 6's built in sub frame builder.Both methods have their pro's and con's but the more options on how to make something the better right?Also i suggest you read Mirsguys tutorial* first as its better for small animations imo and start with that and this tutorial will build on Mirsguy's...

Just wondering if the auto-colour matching and highlight on mouse over of taskbar buttons has been there since windows 7?

If the icon is mostly yellow, the highlight is yellow too, and likewise for all other colours.

Just a nice touch which I only just noticed!

Dear Support,
 Did clean install windows 7 x64 sp 1 enterpriseUsed stardock central to install windowblinds and other apps Disabled also my virus scanner, and runned it as administrator, Can’t start windowblinds without error 101, after that its quits again. Please help !  also my ticket is still FOY-422-87756 and no response from support at all after one week. !

In making my new skin I made an inset background for my per pixel frame Close,Max and Min butons. I saved the background as a .png so I could cut it into 3 pieces.

I also made a different image for the single close buttons using an inset background that was complete.

When I applied the button omages the normal ones positioned correctly but no matter what pixel amount I enterd, the single close button wouldn't move and was stuck in the border of the frame.

Hi,

Many of us are experiencing regular explorer.exe crashes with this new version of Fences.

My question is simple, when Stardock will release a new stable relaease of Fences that fix these problems?

Hi i'm running windows 7 64x and having problem with Stardock Fences.

Every time I boot my computer it takes fences about 1:30m  to load.. so double clicking or anything is useless.

I taught it was a delayed start set by my startup task manager but Fences is not even listed on the startup manager..

So, my fences starts a a late load, 1 minute to much, and the thing is i only have a 4 cpu hunggryless programs that auto run at start up, so it leaves fences no excuse to start a late l...

In every forum I visited on the Internet, when you click on the "go to last reply" link for a thread (the little arrow thingie) it takes you to the last reply for that thread. In Stardock forums it instead takes you to the first page of the thread. Can you please fix that? Thanks.

Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!

Hi,, I am new to desktopX........

 

I am triying to make a sidebar gadget like of win7......

 

so when i click on one object in main panel it mus show the other object like popup....I did that using "RomanDA" tutorials but when i open the gadget it also popups all the sub widets in that,,,,it must be hideen while i start up and after clicking it must popup then again if i click it mus hide,,,,

I thought there was a feature in Fences to hide the labels under the desktop icons?!  I recently had all of the text labels hidden on my desktop without having to use that Rename -> ALT+255 hack.  That method works but is lame.  I know I did it with some piece of software or a registry change.  Does anyone know how this is done with the registry or a piece of software from Stardock that does it?  I tried that lame software Desktop Icon Toy - lame - didn't work... ...
