All "right click" taskbar menus are corrupted visually on my install of windowblinds 8 with windows 8.1 preview. No matter which visual style I use. I uninstalled, re downloaded, re installed, updated nvidia drivers to 326.01. Nothing has fixed it so far. My machine is an Asus  i5 Sandy Bridge running an Nvidia gt530 card. Only the taskbar right click menus are corrupted. All other menus and borders look fine. Any ideas? I'm all out.

Hello,

I have window blind 8 installed as well as the Windows 8 start menu, and have put a taskbar on my 2nd monitor.

When window blinds is running, there will be times (not all the time) that the taskbar on the 2nd monitor will keep popping up in flashing. The regular taskbar on primary monitor one that is provided by Windows does not exhibit this behavior.

When I unload window blinds 8 this stops happening.

The programs that I have open are usually just Internet Explorer, Google...

Since I can't access my external drive I need a way to backup my hard drive. Is there an online backup that's free? I ask because I googled it and found one called Mozy. It says there is a free version and there exists one larger, probably the paid one. Does anyone know if its reliable or if there is one out there that is.

If I try to drag an icon that is not inside a fence to a new location on the desktop the icon snaps back to its original position when I stop dragging. How can I move an icon that is not in a fence? Thanks.

So after installing Visual Studio to the wrong drive on accident. I am again reminded that Microsoft does to a file structure that a 1 year old does to cake. They make a complete mess of it. Unfortunately unlike the kid they aren't cute.

Hello all

So I'm a newb.  I am trying to play around with the tiles feature but can't figure out for the life of me how to install a custom tile skin.

This is what I'm doing:

Download .zip file off winCustomize page.

Open up the "Stardock Tiles Configuration", click on "Style", then, then click "browse".

At this point it only lets me select individual images files (.png, .bmp, etc).  This obviously isn't right be cause it applies only that picture file ra...

I purchased WindowBlinds in hope to find a theme that looks just like windows 7 as if side by side, its not easy to tell the difference. The Diamond theme didn't really accomplish that for me. I tried looking all around wincustomize for the theme but couldnt find any. Does anyone know a theme that looks exactly like windows 7?

My maximized windows seem to cut into the top of the transparent taskbar on Windows 8. It should be aligned to stop at the top of the taskbar.

 

Is this just how Windows 8 works or is this a problem with WindowBlinds?
