Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old! 

Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom

I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).

So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.

I am trying to play Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes and keep getting an error message saying Maximum Activations Reached, but I have not activated it on any other computers and have never even been able to play it. Can someone please help. Thanks.

Hi,

 

I'm an happy user of Fences on a three monitors system.

Until recently everything was very fine with the software but since I upgraded to the latest NVidia video drivers, I have to disable Fences to see the background pictures of my second and third monitor! The background is always available on monitor one, with or without Fences. Any ideas?

You’d best be doing the ones tied to IE and RCE, EoP (elevation of privileges), info disclosure and DoS. They’re “Critical”.

What totally sold me on Fences is the Folder Portal - my gosh that's an awesome convenience.

What I think would be the logical next step, and an even more convenient capability, would be if the folders could be opened within the Fence, i.e., I have my Music Folder in a Fence, and to be able to explore until I find the folder I want to PLAY would make a ton of sense... My word that would be AWESOME!!!

 

Anyone agree?

I know this has been covered before but this REALLY need to be fixed. I read some where of a moderator saying the problem was more of a "feature". Its not. 

The docks get pushed from the right edge and/or bottom edge when the resolution is changed, either from switching users or even turning off my HDTV (which my home theater PC is attached to via HDMI). Even if I click on switch user from (user x) and go to the logon screen and go back to the same user x, the docks will be pushed to the...

Now, before anyone rushes off in horror that this poor lad has had his 'family jewels' handed to him on a platter.....

....it's common Aussie 'strine' for being stuffed...aka worn out....

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

Win7 64bit. ObjectDock 2.10.0.811

I have a couple systray icons that show statuses in my Quicklaunch dock. No issues with that, but I wanted access to the rest of them, too, after hiding the Win7 taskbar, since it's now redundant. I made a separate Tabbed dock just for systray icons, set to show all. It shows the "Solve PC Issues" warning flag, and (right now) "1 Message", but I can't click on it to display the message. Even using the best practices, you can get hit with adware and toolbars (wait one while I duck out to Listerine my fingers).

The usual source? Deceptive installers and deceptive download portals. They’ll get you every time. They’ll switch home pages and search engines. They really come pretty close to malware, imo.

Anyway, you might get asked to help someone with multiple toolbars and adware crap on his box.

There are good programs for that: Adware Cleaner, PC Decrapi...

In October 2013, Stardock will be turning 20 (incorporation date). The first software product we made was…Galactic Civilizations. 

I began working on it in early 1992 while in college and it went into public beta at the start of 1993.  It was “published” by a guy going by “Advanced Idea Machines” who also designed, ahem, the box.

Purchased windows 8 fences a while back then today I purchased Deskscape 8. When i double click to hide fences, the boxes go and I'm left with all the shortcut icons still on-top of my desktop rather than them going invisible as they should. I thought as both stardock packages and part of the objectdock package they would be compatible together. How do I fix this?

I have all these email copies that show how to fix this but nothing works. In REPLY #17, Borgster73 says, "Open configure dock' I can't find "Configure dock". Where is it? The next thing he says is "Choose dock contents Tab"....where is the "choose dock contents tab"?? This seems like a logical fix, if I could only find the proper way to got to them. Please help.....this is maddening!!!

FireFox Skins Perfect-

IceDragon  Almost Perfect,

IE Skins Perfect

Trying to upload Castallo smx and the preview image seems to be stuck. I click on browse and it just sits there doing nothing. Three times already. Wassup!
