Guys, anyone need a Start8 key?

I won a Start8 key and I don't need it, since I have an ODNT subscription good till Dec. 2016.

 

I'd be more than happy to give my key to someone needing it that doesn't have an active subscription.

-Win 8 Pro x64

-Firefox 23.0

-Object Desktop

 

For some reason WindowBlinds8 doesn't seem to still be unable to skin Firefox correctly.

If I skin it without any other settings, then when I have Firefox maximized the Min, Max, and Close buttons don't have their highlight effect that it normally would have, but having the window not maximized shows the correct skin (Win8 Metro in this case) just fine.

Putting an exception for Firefox to not get skinned fixes it for h...

I've never come across this before but it appears that there is an issue with the inactive dwm shadows around the per pixel frames.



 

I did check the margins to make sure that they're correct. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me overcome this

I was wondering if yall could give some thought to adding the ability to add a sound to the Start8 start button.

 

Like a sound when pressed that the user could use/not use. Ability to change sounds, of course.

Hi guys. Just wanted to see if anyone out there has had bariatric surgery and if so, do you have anything you'd like to share?

 

Helpful tips, things to watch out for, etc.

I want to add the network notification icon (as in the System Tray) into Object Dock, but I can't locate a shortcut for that (System Tray icons are not shortcuts). How do I achieve that?

Hi, I have run into this bug on both deskcapes 8, and deskscapes 8.09, but it wasnt originally occuring in deskscapes 8, and now all of the sudden it wont stop happening, so its nothing to do with the version of deskscapes, but anyway, for some reason my deskwall image file(located in AppData/Local/Stardock), which is what shows when something like windows explorer.exe or dwm.exe is shut off(this one is shut off when using dx11 games, as it manages aero techniques that conflict with dx11 games, ...

Purchased windows 8 fences a while back then today I purchased Deskscape 8. When i double click to hide fences, the boxes go and I'm left with all the shortcut icons still on-top of my desktop rather than them going invisible as they should. I thought as both stardock packages and part of the objectdock package they would be compatible together. How do I fix this?

This thread will be dealing with the vertical and horizontal taskbar and all of it's components. I've had to do several redesigns to make the texture work and to accommodate the buttons. As far as the taskbars and buttons go, this should be the last (fingers crossed) redesign.
