"ModernMix provides what I think is a better “mix” (hence the name, presumably) of mobile apps and desktop. It lets you run Windows mobile apps (Mail, Calendar, Xbox Music, etc.) in windows on the Windows desktop, just like real desktop applications. This means they can float, be resized, be pinned to the taskbar, and so on."

Is it possible to add sorting by shortcut path?

For example: every *.lnk which path contains "d:\games" goes to Games fence.

I just bought CursorFx.

 

Can you do something to make the pointer move smoothly?

When I activate CursorFX, it's as if I'm once again using a low quality USB mouse (or a PS2 or a Serial mouse)

In its current form, I can see the cursor moving a bit sluggish as if it's not synchronized with my screen refresh rate.

I guess it's got something to do with CursorFX using a software mouse but I don't see the same behavior in games that also use custom cursors; the...

I've been using Fences for months now and I really like it, particularly as my desktop no longer gets messed up when I install drivers or whatnot.

I several standard Fences on the desktop and two large Portals, each on different 'screens' which I can flick backwards and forwards too in a tablet-like manner (another great feature). When I try to apply a theme through Theme Manager, Windows Explorer crashes. Is this normal?

 

I'm using Windows7 x64

 

Also the top bar of windows disappears and I can't open new windows... though I managed to apply a theme once. Now I'm back to original Aero theme and I can't seem to apply a new theme properly.

The betas can be downloaded via the store accounts page (https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/) or Stardock Central (if Show betas is enabled). 

Fences addresses a drag and drop issue with icons on the desktop with Windows 8.1, as well as a similar (but unrelated) issue for some customers who are also running Stardock's DeskScapes product.

I purchased ObjectDock a few years ago but I switched to RocketDock because the auto popup when the mouse nears the edge of the screen.  I will need to click something near the edge, the dock pops up, and a program in the dock gets clicked by accident.  Rocketdock can hide the dock when you press Ctrl+Alt+R.  The dock is never present unless I want it to be.  However, Rocketdock has a problem with Windows 7 and sometimes gets stuck in the background, so I have to minimize all...

Okay, so I started the 100 Greatest Movies of the Last 25 Years, but it was too long and tedious, so I deleted it. Instead, I'll stick to smaller, simpler lists. Here to let every one know that I'm new to this whole WinCustomize thing. I was lost on how to create cursors. Neone6 which is known for his work

I just purchased DeskScapes via a renewal of Object Desktop.

This program sounds really cool because the website claims you can setup multiple images and have them be different on different monitors.

That is sort of right.  I can get that to work but then rotation doesn't work at all.  If I select all my images (there are only 8) then they start rotating but they are the same on both monitors.  At that point, why use DeskScapes when Windows supports that functionality?
