Review: One Second After

Wow!

One Second After is a fictional story in which the United States is attacked by an Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) weapon.

What’s scary about EMP weapons is that they’re not far-fetched. When a nuclear explosion takes place in the upper atmosphere, it rains down a huge electromagnetic pulse that will take out most electronics that aren’t hardened specifically for it. That means your car, your electricity, everyone else’s electricity, and all your gadgets are fried.

Hey, I recently purchased WindowBlinds and I loved it. It works perfect on my main screen, but on my secondary screen it dont "respond" when I do something. I mean I can click into folders, hear music and things like that. But I cant minimize, close or do the window bigger. It feels like the buttons in the right corner is blocked..It works on my main screen. I cant drag window's on my secondary screen.... What Can I Do, I use windows 8.

i paid for it and now i cant use it.should be my decision to upgrade or not!!!!!

It happens constantly, everytime I close a window for some reason I cannot make the tabbed dock to show up when hovering on it and I need to either click on the desktop several times or click on some other window to make it work.

Also moving tabbed docks from one monitor to the next takes quite some time, is really inconsistent and unpredictable.

Still the problem when trying to close the settings dialog by hitting the "X" button is unresolved

On the old windowblind for window xp and 7 you had it where you could change the background colors of the folders. You know you open a folder   and with window 8 its white only and on window blinds 7 you could change that . Why can't you do with windowblind for window 8? Unless Windows 8 give that but so far I hadn't find it let. Just update my PC and it run window 8 with all that touch stuff I can't use and never will.... Thanks

I bought Fences a few days ago and its working great but its spamming the crap out of my event logs.

Every time I reboot my PC it gives 2x "The server {4AA0A5C4-1B9B-4F2E-99D7-99C6AEC83474} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout." error.

Is there a fix for this?

I am using ObjectDock 2.10.0.811, W7 x64. Tabbed Dock is set to top of monitor, always on top, autohide reveal

The dock itself stays on top of windows as it should, however frequently (mostly?) the Shortcut Title text will be behind the window.
And it happens with any window, maximized or not, the dock will be on top as normal and the Shortcut Title text will be hidden behind the window.
And it is being displayed, the top edge of the windows are transparent so I can see the text changing i...

If you disable Fences in the right-lick context menu in Windows 7 with something like ShellExView to hide it Fences won't load properly.  If anyone cares.

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

Is there a way to have a delay or work around when mousing over hidden fences? It is quite annoying and has an unsettling strobe effect when mouse scrolling trying to find the fence I am looking for or if your mouse falls off the side of an active screen. I know you can hold the Alt key and show all of the fences but this is not what I am looking (asking) for.
