Not sure where to put this, but this is a support forum so I'll put it here.

Sometimes when I come to these forums or go to pages on these forums I get a semi translucent white screen with the message:

"Did you know that your Internet Explorer is out of date?"Except I'm running the latest version of IE10 and have auto-update activated. So any ideas how to fix this please? It's not a huge problem, more of an irritant, but it would be helpful if I could stop it from happening. ...

Technically, I am not new here on JoeUser.



As you can see, my first post was in 2011, and then I forgot about this place until just recently.

But as far as trying to figure out everything, I have no clue. So if you would be so kind and give me a bit of help, that would be great.

I don’t know about you, but when I have to upload personal info, I get really nervous. You can get hacked during the time it takes to load the data, you can get jacked, the site can get hacked, Do they hash and salt? Is that code secure, etc. ad paranoia…?

There have been no new packages for iconpackager and soundpackager for many months now.  Are these dead?  If not, perhpas somebody at Wincustomize should consider doing something.

I am new with Windows 7 Home Premium, and are happy with most things, but there is one "thing" which i do not like: That i can not change the white background colors in Aero. (Only with classic design, but that looks not good)

Hi:

Does anyone knows if Stardock is going to address the problem of having an OD shortcut that points to a folder (with the "Show folder in menu" checked) which contains shortcuts to 64-bit programs that resides in "C:\Program Files".

 

When the folder OD shortcut is pressed and a 64bit program is selected from the folder menu, OD has problems resolving the location of the program and treats the program as a 32-bit program and tries to locate it in the "C:\Program Files (x86)" fol...

I purchased ObjectDock a few years ago but I switched to RocketDock because the auto popup when the mouse nears the edge of the screen.  I will need to click something near the edge, the dock pops up, and a program in the dock gets clicked by accident.  Rocketdock can hide the dock when you press Ctrl+Alt+R.  The dock is never present unless I want it to be.  However, Rocketdock has a problem with Windows 7 and sometimes gets stuck in the background, so I have to minimize all...

are there any major differences and benefits from upgrading to windowblinds 8 on windows 7? I tried windowblinds 8 trail on windows 7 but couldn't tell any differences other than the program layout is differences, can anyone share your experiences using windowblinds 8 on windows 7? is it worth the upgrade?

Knowing that I messed around with this stuff he pointed out a problem with some menu item fonts not being visible (see photo"s below). Hello,

I'm having problem with WindowBlinds and Microsoft Office.  Windowblinds turns the Office program (Word, Excel etc.) background to black.

I find it very annoying to read white text on black background and would like to stop that from happening.

I know it is because of the skin I use, because I tried other skin and the background was normal white.  I also tried adding the programs to the "Per Application" list, with settings "Ignore this application and don't ski...
