Well, after taking a vote in another thread on the preferred color by users, it proved to be all in vain as creating sub-styles in SKS8 right now is a bit borked, but this release will recolor really well, so I guess users can create their own color. Hope you like what you see so far and comments are truly welcome!

Hey everyone,

I'm brand spanking new here, and I seem to have come into a problem already! Only some of the deskscapes are showing up for me on the website. When I go to click "download" on the ones that seem to have a hard time loading I get a "connection error" specifically (im on IE 10, Win 8) "this page cant be displayed". For example I have no problem downloading this:

Can't open files in folders

Hi folks, I have a problem you might be able to help me with. I made a folder and added that folder to my Object Dock. Then I added some shortcuts to that folder. None of them work. The short cuts go to this folder:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\WINPROJ.EXE"

But when I run Object Dock it says that this path:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\WINPROJ.EXE"

does not exist. Why would it change the path? Is ...

Fences does look very nice, and I can see why people would say after 5 minutes they want to use it forever.

Unfortunately the fact that the product just doesn't work has got to be a major problem. On day one I had no problems, however on day 2, when i tried to move a fence, the icons stayed where they were, and were hidden when they were "out" of the fence. so I could not move or resize them. I'm posting this from my Surface RT (on an airplane no less).

When I first got my Surface RT, I really liked the hardware but the software was in a terrible state.

Now, 9 months later, I am happy to report that Microsoft has so improved Surface RT that if I bought a Surface RT today and compared it to what I had back last Fall I would think it was a "Surface RT 2".

So what's changed?

My update checking program says that there's a new update for Window Blinds, v. 8.0.1.0, but there's no option to update within the program and I couldn't find anything when I googled it. Could someone please point me to some info on this update and tell me how I get it ? Thanks in advance.

WB8 and Windows Color and Appearance App

There seem to be quite a few problems with WB8. Amongst other things, when you apply a skin it usually changes the desktop color. If you want to keep your own choice of desktop color then, previously, you had to right click on the desktop, go to personalization and change it in the advance settings, Windows 7 color and Appearance app.

Now, in WB8, when you go into the Color and Appearance app and change the desktop color it indicates that it's doing that but the color doesn't change. ...

So...I'm sitting here minding my own business and I move my mouse to open the tabbed dock, not the one I did, and it starts bouncing! Up and down, up and down like a yoyo. Never seen it do that before. Just put the cursor on the screen edge and there it goes. First time I saw that this morning I laughed my butt off. How come the weird happens on my laptop and nobody else's machine? Too much.

Objectdock keep crashing

ObjectDock v2 is installed on windows 8 (Dell Inspiron 660) and crashes every single day! Tried uninstalling but that doesn't help - does same thing again. It also can't find it's own configuration and goes back to the default dock. This sure is frustrating, anyone having the same problem? How do you troubleshoot or fix?

Shortcut title not on top

I am using ObjectDock 2.10.0.811, W7 x64. Tabbed Dock is set to top of monitor, always on top, autohide reveal

The dock itself stays on top of windows as it should, however frequently (mostly?) the Shortcut Title text will be behind the window.
And it happens with any window, maximized or not, the dock will be on top as normal and the Shortcut Title text will be hidden behind the window.
And it is being displayed, the top edge of the windows are transparent so I can see the text changing i...

The the shortcut icons of (Internet Explorer 10) direct website links (e.g. http://dict.leo.org/?lang=de) are only shown as a default icon ("e"-2D-picture with gray background) in Object Desktop's animated 'Apple-tasklist'. Is it possible to change/update this (ugly) default icon with the thumbnail of that particular website, same as it shown on Windows 7 standard Task list?

Just wondering if there is any way to backupthe desktyop layout so that you can restore it after a full OS reinstall/upgrade. I have my desktop files/icons on a seperate drive so that I can restore/install/change my OS without affecting the stuff on the desktop. I want to check out Windows 7 but I don't see any way of transfering a desktop layout across OS! It is not clear where or how the desktop snapshots are stored <- this would seem the logical way but nothing seems to be stored in the St...
