OK i have 2 monitors and since im using windows8 and have the ability to place my taskbar where i want on the monitor  i did so.
On my first primary monitor my taskbar is placed normaly on the bottom and displayed with small icons.
On my secondary Monitor i placed the taskbar on the right side.

Now when i open the browser (IE/chrome) and maximize that on my secondary monitor it will be ok.
But if i now pull that window to the primary screen it will show as cutoff.
Happens with whatev...

Deal All,

 

We bought SKS7.1 and everything is working fine except for the  controls which are in the group box in the dialogbox (created using MFC CPropertySheet and PropertyPage class). The controls which are inside the group box are not visible properly in windows 7 in XP its working fine.

I have design frame in UIS2 frame. If anyone has any idea ?

OK, guys, here's one for ya. Several skins tested. Naturally, I can't test them all.

 

I load a WB, any WB, all is well. I reboot, and come back to double start buttons. I get the skins button, and the default orb. And only on the primary monitor.

 

I reinstalled WindowBlinds to no avail. DisplayFusion installed, but disabled.

Hello,

Objectdock is conflicting with Bandicam WHEN not started with administration privileges. Running Objectdock normally results(if Bandicam is run after Objectdock) in a "freeze", the docks freeze and can't be used(in any way), but the icon in the tray stays controllable(means I can unload the dock and start it again to fix the problem; but it appears later on again).

After figuring out that I need to run it with administrator privileges and using task scheduler to run it at "Log o...

I can't drag and drop desktop icons, I have the latest version of Fences installed. When I click and drag them the round circle with a line through it appears. Thanks!

Hi, I'm using DeskScape 8 on Windows 8 with 2 monitors. Can I use 1 DeskScape across both monitors ? I can get it to show the same DeskScape on both monitors but for the 'Natural Bliss' DeskScape it would look better playing across both screens.

How do you maximize a fence. Or can you?

 

When i want to look inside the fence t ogo throug hthe files and decide what to work on, I want to be able to maximize the fences. Then minimize them back down or restore them to the original size.

 

I haven't been able to find a way yet. If it's not an option then this is pretty unusable for me.I might as well drop the files on folder icons and be bale to do what i want with them.

 

So can we maximize a fence or...

Fences addresses a drag and drop issue with icons on the desktop with Windows 8.1, as well as a similar (but unrelated) issue for some customers who are also running Stardock's DeskScapes product.

I purchased ObjectDock a few years ago but I switched to RocketDock because the auto popup when the mouse nears the edge of the screen.  I will need to click something near the edge, the dock pops up, and a program in the dock gets clicked by accident.  Rocketdock can hide the dock when you press Ctrl+Alt+R.  The dock is never present unless I want it to be.  However, Rocketdock has a problem with Windows 7 and sometimes gets stuck in the background, so I have to minimize all...

Just wanted to thank all the community skinners for uploading their work on WinCustomize.  It is allways a great pleasure to sign in and see what has been uploaded and available to customize the desktop with.

I have in the past, with the skinners permission, been making Theme Manager Suites for many of the desktop themes.  With the recent and ongoing updates to Stardock customizing programs for Windows 8 compatibility I have put off doing this. 

Hopefully when all the update...

so when i load up a game lets say half life episode 1 etc, i cant see my cursor same goes for the right click menu in the notification icons area

I am shortly going to build a new computer.  I have two builds in mind, but for the life on me can't settle on one or the other, so I am in need of a little help from those who may be more in the know than myself.

The two builds are based on....

CPU - AMD FX8-8350 Vishera 8 core
Graphics - Hd 7950 3072mb

OR

CPU - Intel i7 3770k Ivybridge
Graphics - GTX 660ti

Hello,

 

Will try to explain how to reproduce this small bug:

1-open startmenu

2-click on all-programs

3-click on a folder --> the folder content on mouseover appears with "Selected item text" color (defined in skin colours section)

4-move the mouse to the right hand side and go back to the left --> now on mouseover the color used is the one defined in the startmenu section.
